Brief

For this project I want to create concept art for a fictional story/game idea I have. The story is based in Sri Lanka in the future and I want to show how the progression of time and technology may effect the island but with the element of Sci-fi. I want to focus on the concept art and character designs for the story.

For my previous project I created a comic based on a book by Neil Gaiman called "Norse Mythology" and I really enjoyed creating the character designs for the gods and I would like to work more on that. Concepting is something I would like focus more on career wise so I hope to work more on creating environments and atmosphere in the project.

I will look into works that I find inspirational such as films or movies where the concept art was helpful in visualising the emotions and place of the area. I will look at different artist that inspire me and dissect their work to find techniques that can help me improve my work.
