Looking up. Simple picture, trying to get the handle of looking up at the figure and also re-learning anatomy. I don't have the proper proportions and the torso is a bit long however for my first figure drawing, it is a good start.

Looking up. Different angle, same pose. Simple anatomy from a different angle and looking up. Its an improvement from my first.

Looking up with object. With an object it was both blessing and a curse; the chair helped create a sense of space and added perspective however it was just difficult to draw the object without distorting it. If I had more time I would have added a few more details to the chair.

Drawing of my mother as she watched her shows. [Note: do not use markers on the back of a pencil sketch as they will bleed]

Quick profile marker drawing.

Looking up with tone. Using light and shadows to convey foreshortening.

Looking down with tone. Using tone in a more difficult pose. I added more detail to the clothes and the face as well. overall I feel this is a huge improvement to my observational skills.

Looking down with colour. Using coloured pencil to draw. The pose was a bit more constricting and difficult so I think my drawing could have been better. After our presentation with Hayden, he pointed out that I lose concentration once i reach the feet, so i should work on that a bit more.

Looking down with colour. Using coloured pencil to draw. This pose was a bit easier to draw as I could measure her limbs easier.

[Note: The drawings that I did look like I'm looking straight at them so i need to improve more on location sketches and be on the look out for more dynamic poses] [Bottom] Looking through the window down at people in dinner.
