Brief

For this week we had to look at any political or problem right now. I chose to do about the Meethotamulla garbage dump disaster in Sri Lanka that happened on the 17th of April 2017 that killed 26 people and injured over 100 people. For this brief I looked at what the survivors snd people in Sri Lanka thought was the cause or reason for why this happened or who was to blame. I looked at news videos of interviews on the survivors and how they thought this disaster could have been avoided. Many of the victims of this disaster are pointing the finger at the government for allowing the garbage to even get so high others blame it on the people of Sri Lanka collectively because no one sorts out their garbage into foods and biodegradable or into plastic and non-recyclables.
