Penguin cover submission

To begin with, I did find this project enlightening. For this project we were tasked with creating a book cover for a book. I picked "In Cold Blood" because it was a detective, thriller story about the murder of an american family. I thought I could create some nice covers after reading the story however after trying to read the book I realised I just didn't have any ideas for the cover of the book.

I did not enjoy this project because the story was dragged out and have way to many characters and interviews showing the different points of view so I found it difficult to do a cover for the book as a whole.

After much thought and talks with different teachers, I decided to do a floor plan of where the murders took place.

I really didn't like the out come because of how uninspired I was. However if i were to do this project again I would read the other books first too so then the I would know which ones I would have more ideas for.
