Introduction to Sound of the City

On the first Thursday of this project, Alejandra and Emma asked us to get into teams; I was with Charis and Marisa. We were to create a zine to do with 'Sound of the city'. So as a group we discussed any ideas we had.
For our warm up, Emma played sounds and we had to create a abstract piece inspired by the sounds
We talked about what we did in our previous projects and what we created; Charis used Camden Market for her Fabric of Society, Marisa used lavender fields and I used a strip show in The Grand. And we realised that both my own work and Charis’ had to do with city life (mine being night life and hers being day life) and Marisa was to do with the country life, so we decided to do Day and Night life in the city compared to country life.
This was only a small warm up to get to grips with zines.
