Printing

For our printing workshop we had to first create a plan of what we wanted our screens to look like and also what colours we wanted to use. I wanted to make the pose sensual but also something that showed fluidity and flexibility.

I made three screens as I wanted to have different colours for different layer.

This was the first print, I used one screen to test out the colour. The first one came out a lot clearer and the colour was a nice dark red; maybe next time i colour use a base design so it looks more like a poster.

For this one I wanted to incorporate different colours to certain parts of the screen. I wanted to make the hair a different colour, because in my animation I was going to make the two characters look different so i thought different hair colours.

For this one i added the second screen to add the wings and tail. I chose to make them red for this test to show overlay and a more sinister vibe.

For this one I had a dark colour and another colour on the screen to make a more messy look to my screen print. I think this one had a nice textured look to it. The colour contrast is very nice and I want to use this as a companion piece for my animation
